when we started working on civic education for the young generation, by producing not only dedicated manuals and toolkits in Albanian language for the age 16-29, but as well conducting trainings, workshops, and campaigns to resolve certain issues concerning young people, such as the implementation of the new amendments in the law for prior education etc.
One of the outmost achievements we highlight is the creation of an alumni community of young people, in 12 regions of Albania. These young people have already been part and engaged in the political education and active citizenship field through the joint projects of National Youth Congress and Hanns Seidel Stiftung.
we have decided to take the program to another level, working with specialized groups and setting up a national team that will specialize in political education and public discourse. U(You) 4(For) Politics 4.0_Politic’s never been that cool!, gives a start from scratch not only for the knowledge of young people of Albania but to the quality of our democratic life, a safe and assured institutional path into dealing with our issues and a clear and optimistic future. We will work upon 4 main reforms in Albania, Electoral Reform, Institutional and Public Administration Reform, Fiscal Reform and Justice Reform and their impact in policy cycle, EU integration process and the development of the Albanian society. All four of these academies will be led by lecturers with the best possible experience and expertise. Each Academy will be held in four days with specific programs, working groups of young people, who will work on building a resolution on each academy.
This project throughout all its phases of implementation will serve as one of the best tools to ensure the encouraging future for our youngsters and our country. Guaranteeing not only prepared young individuals with the right knowledge to confront and combat any challenge, but to also consolidate their role in the participatory governance and in influencing policymaking.
